Our Story

No Judgement Zone Basketball Club powered by Natural Promotions Inc. is a 501c7 non-profit organization. Natural Promotions Inc. first operated as a Motorcycle Club and it was founded by Coach Nette and her husband in 2006 primarily out of Franklin Twp. and Jersey City, NJ.  Who along with a group of friends had a love for motorcycles as well as serving  their community. Fast forward to 2019 they've expanded and now bring you N.J.Z.B.C

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ Coach Nette discovered her love for basketball around 10 years old. She played on numerous basketball teams via recreation and school teams through high school. Coach trained at several basketball camps from New York to Pennsylvania, won multiple awards such as MVP,  All-American, and best defensive player, and played on both county and state championship teams where she played both point and shooting guard. 

Although coach stopped playing organized ball after high school her love for the game has remained the same. Coach Nette often tells the stories that her best basketball experiences were between the ages of 10-12. She believes these are pivotal times. As a mother of daughter who is in this age bracket and a son who will be there in a couple of years it’s important to her that they and all young people she encounters be introduced to the same values, work ethic, compassion, and team building she had. 

Coach is a certified USA Gold Coach and a certified referee. She is a member of the Iaabo 33 and NJSIAA.

The objective here is to create a space where young people can learn the fundamentals of basketball, create lasting memories, but also learn those skills that will help them navigate through life's unpredictable challenges. The club provides both a  recreational/ competitive play experience. The club holds membership with the AAU and NTBA.

NJZBC is also registered members of the Jr. NBA’S and Jr. Knicks associations. The club completed the Jr. NBA'S "Her time to play " program during their first year.  As well as hosted their local "Skill Challenge ".  This initiative will continue to be promoted throughout the program. 

While the club does welcome both young ladies and young men. The ultimate goal here is to promote and encourage girl power. NJZBC wants all girls and boys to appreciate the many talents girls and women bring to the table.  So they will be exposed to women coaches,  trainers, referees, and mentors.
